The plant allotted to me, Alovera, showed very poor growth for the past few days and finally stopped growing at all. This was probably due to over watering or exposure under direct sunlight for too long. It could have been a consequence of using the wrong type of soil as well. The other plant allotted to me, the boston fern is in good condition.
